I made the original panorama for the upcoming WWP event "Mortality". This is a stereographic up projection.

I took four images around. One in each cardinal direction and an extra one to get rid of my shadow. I used the Sigma 8mm fish eye lens on a Sony A700 mounted on a double monopod construction.

The Maritime Museum has been established in 1873 by Prince Henry of the Netherlands. Sometimes it is also named after its founder: Prince Hendrik Museum. Prince Hendrik himself had a naval career.

This panorama shows an old and rusty machine. In better times it surely was a trusty machine but now it's only rusty...

This campground offers some great views over Akaroa Harbour. You can get to Akaroa with a short walk down the hill.

The Churburg has been built around 1250 near the village of Schluderns. It has one of the largest private armouries and can be visited.

In the late 1990s hang gliding was a popular sport in and around Bad Hindelang. The hang gliders were transported to the start place using a chair lift. The old chair lift has been replaced by a cable car and the sportsmen started to go paragliding instead. So this ramp is seldom used nowadays.
