Marienberg Fortress (Festung Marienberg) in Würzburg

These panoramic images were taken inside Marienberg Fortress (German: Festung Marienberg) in Würzburg. The Fortress Marienberg is a symbol of Würzburg and served as a home of the local prince-bishps for nearly five centuries.

Technique:
The shooting was done with a 1 meter (appx. 3 ft) pole which I held straight over my head. The camera was a Ricoh Theta Z1. The RAW images were optimized in Lightroom and stitched with the plugin for Lightroom. Cleanup of the nadir was done with Pano2VR.

Reprojected orchestra shell in Oberstdorf

This image is from the August page of my 2018 calender. This image shows a remapped photosphere and was taken inside the orchestra shell of Oberstdorf (Bavaria, Germany). Reprojection is little planet (stereographic down).

Located in the in the historic Victorian precinct of Oamaru Steampunk HQ is an art collaboration and gallery. When you stop by for a visit be sure to take a look at the newly installed ‘Infinity Portal’. It’s absolutely breathtaking.

Rocks near Point Lonsdale Lighthouse

Near Point Lonsdale Lighthouse you have access to the beach via a short trail. You can find some iteresting rocks on the beach.

Standing on Webb Bridge (Melbourne)

This image was taken on the Webb Bridge in Melbourne. It spans the Yarra River and the architect is Denton Corker Marshall in collaboration with artist Robert Owen.

Five images around to get rid of my own shadow (standing left and right of the pole while taking the image(s) which faced the opposite direction of the sun). The zenith and nadir was retouched by hand in post-processing.

Central atrium of the Block Arcade

The Block Arcade is one of the tourst icons of the city of Melbourne. It was erected between 1891 and 1893. The panorama shows the central atrium of the arcade.
