This is the first high pole panorama I shot with the Sony ILCE-7 camera and the Walimex Pro 8mm fisheye lens. The pole is about 5.5m or 18ft high. I used a custom made wireless remote adapter to trigger the camera.

Standing on Mount John offers a mgnificent view from Lake Tekapo in the east to the Southern Alps in the very west.
Originally this panorama was my submission to the World Wide Panaorama event 'Weather / Climate'. This panorama has been stitched from two individual panoramas stitched from four images each. The shots were done with the Sony ILCE-QX1 'camera' mounted on a 6m high pole.
